U.S. stocks looked uncertain over Thursday trading session as Wall Street indices ended the session mixed.
🇺🇸 Dow 30 ended the day down by -35.27 points or -0.11% lower to 32,764.65. While 🇺🇸 Nasdaq closed higher and up by 213.93 points or 1.71% to 12,698.09 and 🇺🇸 S&P 500 added 36.04 points or 0.88% higher to 4,151.28.
Sentiment look mixed as investors continue to digest recent economic data of 🇺🇸 GDP Annualized in Q1 preliminary estimate exceed forecast and rose to 1.3% compared to previous figure 1.1% in Q4 according to Bureau of Economic Analysis.
In the upcoming event, we may expect high volatility ahead of Durable Goods Orders to be released at 8:30am on Friday (New York Time). Economists are expecting lower forecast compared to previous report

– 🇺🇸 Personal Consumption Expenditures Prices (3-mth) in Q1 preliminary estimate unchanged at 4.2% compared to previous report in Q4. The actual figure is also in line with the forecast
– 🇺🇸 In the week ending 20 May, the Initial Unemployment Insurance Claims rose to 229K compared to previous figure 225K (revised from 242K)
– 🇺🇸 Chicago Fed National Activity Index in April exceed forecast and rose to 0.07 points compared to previous figure -0.37, revised from -0.19 points in March
Wall Street Top Gainers, Losers and Active Stocks
Top two gainers in the last trading session include NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA) as the stock surged 24.37% to 379.80 while Super Micro Computer Inc (SMCI) added 23.41% to 206.86.
Losers include Snowflake Inc. (SNOW), erasing -16.5% from its share price to 147.91 and AeroVironment Inc (AVAV) dropped -15.51% to 92.04.
Elsewhere, most active counters were NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA), Advanced Micro Devices Inc (AMD) and Palantir Technologies Inc (PLTR) to name a few.
