U.S. stocks rose over the course of Thursday trading session as Wall Street indices ended the session higher.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Dow 30 ended the day surged 524.29 points or 1.57% higher to 33,826.16. While ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Nasdaq closed higher and up by 287.89 points or 2.43% to 12,142.24 and ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ S&P 500 added 79.36 points or 1.96% higher to 4,135.35.

Investors seem to take positive cue from the recent economic data ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ GDP Annualized in Q1 preliminary estimate below forecast and dropped to 1.1% compared to previous figure 2.6% in Q4 according to Bureau of Economic Analysis.

There are no major U.S. economic data on Friday, though traders might be interested in Core Personal Consumption Expenditures – Price Index (1-mth) from Bureau of Economic Analysis to be released at 8:30am (New York Time). Analysts are expecting lower forecast compared to previous report.

Wall Street Top Gainers, Losers and Active Stocks

Top two gainers in the last trading session include Helen of Troy Ltd (HELE) as the stock surged 19.49% to 97.74 while Ardagh Metal Packaging SA (AMBP) added 16.18% to 4.02.

Losers include Impinj Inc (PI), erasing -39.06% from its share price to 82.47 and Aspen Technology Inc (AZPN) dropped -24.54% to 174.90.

Elsewhere, most active counters were Amazon.com Inc (AMZN), Tesla Inc (TSLA) and Snap Inc (SNAP) to name a few.
