U.S. stocks dropped over the course of Tuesday trading session as Wall Street indices ended the session lower.
🇺🇸 Nasdaq ended the day down by -77.36 points or -0.63% lower to 12,179.55. While 🇺🇸 Dow 30 closed lower and down by -56.88 points or -0.17% to 33,561.81 and 🇺🇸 S&P 500 dropped -18.95 points or -0.46% lower to 4,119.17.
Investors seem wary ahead of key data in the coming days as there were no major U.S. economic news in the last 24 hours.
In the upcoming event, we may expect high volatility ahead of CPI Inflation Rate excluding Food & Energy sectors (1-mth) to be released at 8:30am on Wednesday (New York Time). Economists are expecting lower forecast compared to previous report.
Wall Street Top Gainers, Losers and Active Stocks
Top two gainers in the last trading session include Palantir Technologies Inc (PLTR) as the stock surged 23.39% to 9.55 while Shoals Technologies Group Inc (SHLS) added 22.26% to 24.11.
